What is "Forever & Always, Olivia Newton-John" all about?
Why should you join us? What makes us different than any other group?
There are several reasons to join us. First to better understand
who and what we are here is a message from our president and founder who is
probably Olivia's most loyal and dedicated admirer. His initiative and
insight
is the inspiration behind our organization. He has one simple rule: Olivia
comes first because she earned that respect.
Here are some of the things that make us unique:
1. We have one goal and one goal only: to support, promote, serve, and honor Olivia Newton-John, to raise money for her charities, and to promote and support her morals and standards. No other group wants any part of that.
2. We are the ONLY group that donates 100% of its member dues to her charities. No other group will even consider that.
3. All of our expenses come out of our founder's pocket. None of the donated money is used to pay for materials, or web site maintenance.
4. We put Olivia's needs and benefit before ours. If it benefits her, we do it without regard to how it benefits our organization. We are not politically motivated to keep our status with her management or any other part of her organization.
5. While other groups may offer newsletters, pictures, and little else, we offer something no other group is willing to offer: the chance to actually do something to benefit Olivia. That is far more important that any picture or newsletter.
6. We gladly share all our information either through our web site for free. Others require you to pay a membership fee to them in order to get the REAL information.
7. We don't sell or condone illegally pirated tapes, videos, or DVDs. Other groups actually promote these things on their sites or are actually responsible for producing them.
As you can see, we are very different from the others. We follow Olivia's high standards and convictions. We are loyal to no one except Olivia. We stand behind her 100%, and always come to her aid when she does not get the good things she deserves.
Here are our requirements for joining:
For those of you
who are interested in joining there are only two requirements.
1. You must make a minimum donation of $20.00 per year to one of Olivia's
Charities. It doesn't matter which one. You can donate as much as you like
as long is it is at least $20.00 per year. You can either do this through us
or on your own. It doesn't matter how you do it as long as you do.
If you chose to go through us, we will make your donation with the others we
collect. It is the practice of the charity to send out a thank you letter to
the donors. We will provide them with YOUR name, address and amount of your
donation for their records. This also insures that we did, in fact, send
them your money and didn't keep it for ourselves.
If you chose to do it on your own, just send us some kind of confirmation
you made the donation. (You might send us a copy of your thank you letter.)
We are not interested in claiming any credit for this. This is not to make
us look good. This is for Olivia.
2. The second thing you need to do is be willing to actively help support
and promote Olivia. This may mean sending letters to management or radio
stations, news media, etc, in either support of Olivia or in protest against
something that was done to her out of disrespect, or just to make her look
bad. Also helping us gather credible information about Olivia for the
website. In other words, stand up for her honor.
Many of you here are already willing to do that, so this should be a no
brainer for most of you. Thank you.
What you will get:
1. Your membership number.
2. Business cards with your name on them to give to others interested in
joining us.
3. An 8x10 color photo of our Goddess.
4. We will also try to provide you with any support materials we can to help
you promote Olivia and US. (Flyers, more cards, etc.) The more of us there
are, the more of a difference we can make for Olivia.
What you WON'T get:
1. We don't do printed, mailed newsletters because we don't
take your money. It goes to Olivia's charities.
2. A website or links to websites that enable you to illegally obtain
Olivia's music. That is absolutely against our policy.
3. A lot of dishonest promises and incorrect information about what is
really going on.
4. You will never got thrown out of this fan club because your opinion may
be different than the majority. Discussion and debate is how we will move
forward on Olivia's behalf. The only way you can lose membership is if you
don't continue to follow the two conditions required by all members.
